14.11.2011 On Saturday, November 19, another one of our popular wine tastings will take place at the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser. We will sample the new Palatine wine to go with some tasty appetizers which will be served as well. Start: 19:00. Admission is free.
29.09.2011 General Meeting, October 23, 2011 Dear members of the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser). On October 23, starting 11:00, a general meeting will take place at the museum. We'd love to see you all there. Photos from the parish fair parade (25.09.2011) On September 25, 2011, another parade through the main streets of Otterbach took place, on the occasion of the parish fair. Once more, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser participated in the event. You'll find photos from the event here.
31.10.2010 On Saturday, November 20, a wine tasting will take place at the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser. We will sample the new Palatine wine to go with some tasty appetizers which will be served as well. Start: 19:00. Admission is free. Apart from that, the museum is now closed until April 2011. However, group visits within this period of time can still be arranged on appointment.
29.09.2010 On September 26, 2010 another parade through the main streets of Otterbach took place, on the occasion of the parish fair. Alongside other local companies and associations, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser) once again actively participated in the event. Some members and supporters of the museum joined the parade with their motorcycles, some of them being historic vehicles. We got a lot of enthused feedback by the numerous visitors watching the parade. You'll find photos from the event here.
20.05.2010 With great sorrow, we say goodbye to our honorary member and long-standing chairman, Mr. Werner Becker. We express our deep sympathy and condolences to his family. Click on the small image to the right to view a large version of the complete obituary.

14.10.2009 On Sunday, October 18, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser will be open for the last time this year. However, visits during our winter break are possible by arranging an appointment via phone.
07.04.2009 The Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser) will be openend for visitors on Sunday 12.04. (Easter) and Monday 13.04., from 10:00 - 12:30! After these days, we return to our usual hours of opening until October 2009. We already wish you a Happy Easter and are looking forward to your visit!
26.02.2009 On Saturday (February 28, 2009) at 19.15, the German TV channel SWR will air another episode of its "Landesart" format, featuring a "Museums-Check" shot in the Kaiserslautern area. The program will also include a report on the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser. Tune in...and enjoy watching!
29.01.2009 Photos of the reopening celebration are online! After the finishings from 20.02.-01.10.2007, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser) celebrated its reopening on June 9., 2008. The event had been well-attended; a lot of visitors were very interested in the exhibits as well as in the history of the museum and donated for its further preservation. 23.01.2009 The "Beaujolais-Fest" hosted by the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser on November 22, 2008, was successful! The revenue will be used by the society to further maintain the museum and make new purchases to expand the exhibition. Thanks to everybody who was there that day and thereby supported us!
17.11.2008 On November 22, 2008, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser hosts the 2nd "Otterbacher Beaujolais-Fest" (Beaujolais party), starting at 18:00. Admission free! Apart from that, the museum is now closed until April 2009. However, group visits within this period of time can still be arranged on appointment.
24.10.2008 Welcome to the official website of the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser). From now on, this website will always provide you with news (dates for upcoming events, what's new at the museum and on this website,...) as well a general info about Heinz Luthringshauser (21.01.1931-05.09.1997) and his museum in Otterbach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Moreover, there will be a lot of photos to look at: of the museum, the motorcycles, our events and the finishing work which was completed in 2007!
