On September 26, 2010, another parade through the main streets of Otterbach took place, on the occasion of the parish fair. Alongside other local companies and associations, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser) once again actively participated in the event. Some members and supporters of the museum joined the parade with their motorcycles, some of them being historic vehicles. We got a lot of enthused feedback by the numerous visitors watching the parade. Here are some photos from the event.

Photos of the reopening celebration (08.06.2008)

After the finishings from 20.02.-01.10.2007, the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser) celebrated its reopening on June 9., 2008. On a silver screen we showed scenes from the life and motorsport career of Heinz Luthringshauser and photos from the finishings (also see below on this page). The event had been well-attended; a lot of visitors were very interested in the exhibits as well as in the history of the museum and donated for its further preservation.

Photos of the finishing work (20.02.2007-01.10.2007)

On behalf of the Motorradmuseum Heinz Luthringshauser (Motorcycle Museum Heinz Luthringshauser), architect Andreas Schmitt (Mehlingen) in cooperation with construction engineer Klaus Jung (Siegelbach) designed a second floor in form of a wood/steel construction, which left the old foundation walls untouched. By using a square opening in the middle and open steel grid flooring to place the exhibits on, a bright gallery was created which harmoniously blends in with the old church building, in spite of its functional and aesthetic simplicity.
